Who are we?
Hey y’all! I’m Jody Cole, head field-hand at The Heirloom Acre here in Piggott, AR. My husband (Matt) and I started The Heirloom Acre in 2020 as a garden guidance page with a dream of sustainably growing herbs, veggies, and flowers on a larger scale. That same year we bought a beautiful piece of property on Crowley’s Ridge and started working on our homestead.
After countless dead plants, a few hawk-sacrificed chickens, and many mosquito bites here we are six years later! Currently we are growing all the fun things with aspirations of expanding over the next few years to not only be a productive flower and vegetable farm but a teaching farm. Teaching people how to grow there own food and medicine, and empowering families to be more self-sustaining. Come join us on our journey!
Meet the family…
Matt and I have been abundantly blessed with four beautiful kiddos. Audrey Jo who is 10, Jack who is 3, Eli is 2 and Everett who was born in August. They can make things challenging around the farm and field but they are so worth it!
